TransferWise Tracker — Now Wise (Status Guide)

TransferWise rebranded to Wise in 2021. The service is identical and every existing TransferWise account is now a Wise account. To track a transfer, sign in at wise.com using your old TransferWise credentials.

How to check your TransferWise (now Wise) transfer

TransferWise (now Wise) does not offer a public lookup by reference — a transfer's status is only visible to the signed-in sender inside TransferWise (now Wise)'s own app. We can't fetch it for you, so here is exactly where to find it, plus the meaning of every status further down this page.

In the app:wise.com → Activity → tap the transfer.

What each status means

Authorised / Funds receivedProvider has confirmed the sender's payment and queued the transfer.
In progress / In transitProvider is processing or routing the funds to the receiver.
Ready for pickupCash transfers waiting at the agent for the receiver to collect.
Delivered / Received / CompletedReceiver has the funds in their account, wallet or cash in hand.
Action needed / HeldSender must take action — usually ID upload, source-of-funds question or payout-partner outage.

Frequently asked questions

Is TransferWise still a thing?

It is now called Wise. Same company, same product, same logins — just a new name since February 2021.

Where do I sign in?

wise.com — your old TransferWise email and password still work.

Does TransferWise / Wise use SWIFT?

Mostly no — local rails are used wherever possible. A minority of USD business wires use SWIFT; for those, OhMyFin can track the SWIFT leg by UETR free.

What if I have an old TransferWise receipt?

The Transfer ID on the receipt still works in your Wise account — open wise.com → Activity and search the ID.
